What We Did
- Logo Design
We first came into contact with Little Acorns to Mighty Oaks when they approached us to redesign and redevelop their e-commerce website and during the course of that project they asked us to redesign their logo.
Our logo design process always begins with a questionnaire that allows us to gather not only the client's specific requirements but also gain insights into their likes and dislikes in terms of colour schemes, typography and general style and also collect examples of logos they like from competing businesses as well as businesses in unrelated sectors.
Once the questionnaire responses had been gathered and digested we begin the logo design process with traditional pencil and paper, quickly sketching out ideas and evolving the best ones until they are ready to be shared with the client. Once a decision has been made on the best ideas we begin work creating polished, digital versions where we can experiment with colour and typography.
The digital concepts are supplied to the client for further discussion until a single version is chosen and taken forward as the winning candidate.
In the case of Little Acorns to Mighty Oaks, the colour scheme tied in with the feeling of wholesome, natural materials that is at the very heart of everything Little Acorns to Mighty Oaks do and we used a chunky, serif font along with an acorn motif to again, reinforce that earthy feel.
